Too Long

It's been way too long since I have posted on here. I would like to get this blog up and running. I follow a lot of other ladies that blog and I can tell they spend a lot of time and energy on them. I have just been through a bad year and am hoping that this one is so much better. So far, so good.

I am just waiting for the weather to get nice and stay that way. Here in Ohio you can go through all 4 seasons in one day. This week for example, we had 60*'s, sun, then some rain, falling temps, ice and snow and now starting to warm back up again. All I know is that I hope Easter is a nice sunny day.

I spend a lot of time on FaceBook, too much as a matter of fact. Not such a bad thing when it is winter and I am not going anywhere or doing anything, can't go outside so may as well stay in right. Well I have this Island on there that I am addicted to, planting and harvesting crops, stealing from my neighbors, (hee hee) trying to build up money and points to buy things and level up my island....yes like I said an addiction. I hope to be able to put it on hold so I can be outside in the garden and just doing the outside thing. I am always looking for Island Paradise Neighbors, hint, hint.

I would sure like to make some friends so if you think we have some things in common please hop on board.

Gardens

With the price of groceries going so high I am putting out a bigger garden this year and do some canning. I am more able to do this since I am not working at the time. I have everything out that I am putting out for now. I will add some more green beans and peas in a few weeks. The few things I want to can are green beans, salsa,tomatoes and I have canned up veggie soup in the past and it is so good and handy for a quick meal. If peaches aren't too pricey I will do those up. I will just freeze the sweet corn and peas. We are getting a nice easy rain today so it should hopefully get the garden growing.

Oust

I am a member of the BZZ agent. I get to try out different products and share with friends. I recently tried Oust spray and sanitizer. I personally am very impressed with this product. It has a light clean scent and it makes me feel like I am doing my part to keep my house sanitized. I would recommend you try it soon.

Let's Get Started

Good morning everyone. Grab your coffee and lets get started. What is everyone's personal favorite coffee? Mine is Starbucks Italian Roast. I enjoy the dark rich flavor of this coffee and am afraid to try anything else.
In the afternoons I like to make a caramel latte and sit back and relax for a little bit. In the summer months I am a sweet tea or iced coffee girl.
Speaking of summer months I am so ready for the warm weather. I just hate being closed up in the house and I hate going out in the cold.
I am reading a great book right now called Firefly Lane. It is a very thick book, but it is going fast because I just can't put it down. I would like to have some type of bookclub if anyone is interested just let me know.
What are your plans for the day? I just need to get some filing done in the office and go into town on a few short errands. Nothing big.
I hope to have some comments on here later, it's not easy talking to myself and I have no idea what anyone wants to chat about.
